Retail Engagement Specialist

Overview Join 2020 Companies as a Retail Engagement Specialist and play a key role in building retail partner relationships, increasing program visibility, and supporting business growth across your territory. Responsibilities Visit retail locations within the assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship‑focused manner. Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits. Provide on‑site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence. Place and maintain point‑of‑sale materials and branding in‑store. Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems. Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met. Accurately track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations and submit feedback reporting in a timely manner. Day‑to‑Day Field‑based position with daily travel within the assigned territory. Approximately 22‑35 retail visits per day depending on geography and scheduling. Mix of in‑store engagement, driving, and administrative follow‑up. Independent work style supported by leadership and training teams. Performance Measurements Meet or exceed quarterly visit goals. Meet or exceed weekly in‑store time goals. Effectively schedule store visits two weeks or more in advance. Effectively execute assigned activities inside each location during all visits. Demonstrate an ability to establish and influence business relationships through merchant awareness, POP placement, and consistent productivity. Benefits No weekends. At least six months of prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience. Demonstrated knowledge of products and services. Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
