We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support daily shipment coordination, carrier communication, and transportation scheduling for a growing organization in Shelbyville, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation coordination, or customer service who enjoys problem-solving and keeping operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery Schedule and dispatch carriers, vendors, and transportation providers Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, drivers, and internal teams Track shipments and proactively communicate status updates Resolve transportation issues, delays, and service concerns Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation Update logistics information within company systems and spreadsheets Support continuous improvement of transportation and coordination processes Qualifications 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination, dispatch, transportation, customer service, or supply chain support Experience working with carriers, vendors, and third-party transportation providers Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, email, and business software systems Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Preferred Experience Logistics, transportation, dispatch, routing, or shipment coordination experience Experience working with ERP, TMS, or logistics software systems Background supporting manufacturing, distribution, transportation, or supply chain operations What to Expect Fully onsite position in Shelbyville, IN Professional office environment (not warehouse-based) Contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential Collaborative team and stable organization Pay Details: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
