We are currently in search of a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to enhance our cancer care team. Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical abilities, a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, and an interest in participating in various clinical trials available within our network. Applicants should hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania medical license and be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. The selected candidate will work in a recently updated facility on the hospital campus, which provides cutting-edge medical oncology treatments and access to clinical trials. Our physicians benefit from a supportive, integrated network of healthcare professionals. Collaborate with a skilled team of medical oncologists, hematologists, advanced practice providers, specialized oncology nurses, laboratory staff, pharmacists, and additional support personnel. Enjoy a dynamic practice that includes both outpatient and inpatient medical consultations, chemotherapy administration, laboratory services, and supportive therapy visits. Clinical care is provided Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with shared on-call responsibilities among physician colleagues.

About the Local Hospital:

This facility is a 118-bed licensed hospital that serves approximately 3,900 inpatients, over 140,000 outpatients, and nearly 18,000 emergency cases each year. The hospital is equipped with medical/surgical beds, pediatric beds, obstetric/gynecology beds, nursery cribs, an intensive coronary care unit, skilled nursing beds, and a neuropsychiatric service with an 18-bed unit.

Additional services include medical oncology, a sleep lab, a dialysis center, a cardiac catheterization lab, a pain management program, occupational health services, and community education. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care, along with ancillary services such as radiology, laboratory, rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary services, orthopedics, inpatient/outpatient substance use services, and hospice care.
