**Join Our Team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/PET Tech!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Nuclear Medicine Technologist/PET Tech - **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) - **Experience Required:** Minimum of 1 year, with 6 months in PET preferred - **Certifications Needed:** ARRT (N) or NMTCB with CA License, BLS - **Charting System:** Epic experience highly preferred - **Primary Responsibilities:** - Conduct PET scans and other nuclear medicine procedures - Ensure high-quality imaging and patient care - Float to Nuclear Medicine as needed - Participate in patient preparation and education - Collaborate with medical staff to optimize patient outcomes - **Preferred Skills:** - Siemens experience (machines: SIEMENS SYMBIA SPECTCT, SIEMENS SYMBIA, SIEMENS BIOGRAPH HORIZON PETCT) - Experience with various nuclear medicine scans, including bone, cardiac, renal, and thyroid studies - Drawing venous blood and starting/maintaining IVs - Handling and disposing of radioactive materials - **Work Environment:** - Supportive and collaborative team atmosphere - Opportunity to work in a teaching hospital setting - Diverse patient age groups: from neonates to geriatrics - Average of 6-7 PETCT and 9 general nuclear medicine studies per day - **Floating and Call Requirements:** - Float between PET and Nuclear Medicine departments - Participate in evening and rotating weekend call as needed **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
