Key Responsibilities

• Provide care for over 4,000 cardiology patients each year.
• Engage in specialized procedures including PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers.
• Support patients with congestive heart failure and conduct electrophysiology studies.
• Utilize clinical judgment to assess and address patient responses to health conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure outstanding care for cardiovascular patients.
• Participate in national clinical trials overseen by our research department.
• Adhere to strict attendance policies to maintain consistent patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan RN license is mandatory.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU setting is essential.
• EKG experience is necessary.
• Willingness to float to similar units is expected.
• Preferred experience includes Neuro, CVICU, Trauma, managing ventilators, CRRT, and Balloon Pumps.
• Skills checklist must be completed within one year of application.
