MATERIAL HANDLER | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Covington GA 30014 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $15.50/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• • Overtime may be required based on business needs

MATERIAL HANDLER | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The  Material Handler  will support warehouse and manufacturing operations by moving, sorting, inspecting, and handling materials while ensuring products meet quality standards. The position requires maintaining accurate documentation, following established procedures, and operating in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates should be comfortable with physical work, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working overtime when needed.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

MATERIAL HANDLER | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Move materials, parts, assemblies, and products throughout the warehouse and production areas
• Sort and inspect materials to ensure quality standards are met
• Utilize hand carts and inspection equipment as needed
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation
• Follow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines
• Perform routine warehouse and production support tasks
• Work in a metrics-driven environment to meet productivity goals
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Assist with additional duties as assigned

MATERIAL HANDLER | REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• 1+ year of warehouse, manufacturing, quality, or related experience
• Stable work history with at least one continuous year in a previous position preferred
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Basic math skills required
• General computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
• Good vision and ability to read measuring devices such as rulers
• Ability to work overtime when needed

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Repetitive use of hands and wrists
• Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds
• Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
• Ability to work in a moderate to loud warehouse environment
