Company Description Vigor Active is a 16,000 sq ft fitness facility focused on improving community health and wellness through science-based training approaches. The facility offers a wide range of equipment, including selectorized machines, two free weight areas, and a performance center with an Olympic platform and TRX bands. Members also have access to spin, yoga, group exercise classes, and other specialized fitness options. Personal Trainers and Massage Therapists are available to support members in achieving maximum improvement in their physical performance and overall well-being. Vigor Active provides a professional, goal-oriented environment for both clients and fitness professionals. Role Description The Certified Personal Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based at Vigor Active in Fort Worth, TX. This role involves designing and delivering individualized fitness programs, conducting assessments, and providing hands‑on instruction to members on proper exercise techniques and safe equipment use. The trainer will lead one‑on‑one training sessions, monitor progress, adjust programs as needed, and offer ongoing motivation and education on healthy lifestyle habits. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized training area, collaborating with other staff to enhance member experience, and selling their own personal training packages. The trainer will also document sessions, track member goals, and uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service. Qualifications Personal Training: 1 year experience Nationally Accredited Personal Trainer Certification Strong interpersonal skills Sales oriented Detail oriented, Dependable, Punctual Wear proper uniform attire and maintain a professional appearance Compensation and Benefits: This position is an W-2 Employee - NOT 1099 Contractor No insurance or liability commitments, pay more towards taxes! Above average commission rates ( $25 - $60/hour) based on the packages sold. Average Trainer receives $34-$50/hour.
