The ideal candidate has a strong background in Playwright, Cypress, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and is comfortable designing, building, and maintaining automated test suites—including API/integration tests and end-to-end tests—using modern JavaScript frameworks. Experience applying agentic AI tools to accelerate and improve testing workflows is a strong plus.What You Will Do:Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications using Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress for functional, end-to-end, and regression testingCollaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Development, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to ensure high-quality releasesLead defect triage, root cause analysis, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiativesConduct cross-browser and responsive UI testing to ensure a consistent user experience across platforms and devicesIdentify opportunities to improve test coverage, stability, and execution efficiencyEnsure testing complies with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and other applicable standardsIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.) with clear quality gatesEnsure test traceability, coverage visibility, and alignment with release processesLeverage agentic AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate test authoring, self-healing test maintenance, and defect analysisRequired Qualifications:5+ years of software testing experience3+ years of relevant automation testing experience4+ years of hands-on development with JavaScript-based automation frameworks, including Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, Jasmine, or Protractor4+ years of experience with API automation and REST API testing using Postman and RestAssuredProven experience creating and maintaining test scripts, along with custom-designed testing tools and frameworksStrong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScriptExperience with BDD/Cucumber for QA deliveryHands-on experience using agentic AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) to generate, refactor, and debug test code and to streamline QA workflowsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in Pharmacy, Clinical Systems, or other healthcare domainsExperience working within an Engineering Center of Excellence (tools and processes)Strong team player who takes ownership and communicates effectivelyWorking knowledge of the healthcare domain is a plusStrong problem-solving and strategic critical-thinking skillsFamiliarity with prompt engineering or building AI-assisted test automation pipelinesEducation:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Highschool diploma plus 4 years relevant work experience)Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40Time Type: Full timePay Range: The typical pay range for this role is: $92,700.00 - $203,940.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
