Details Work in the ICU of a hospital environment Adult patient population Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:30, with 36-hour schedules accepted 8-week contract length Weekend coverage required every other weekend Floating required to MS/Tele and Tele units within scope of practice Uses Accudose medication system and Cerner documentation system Utilizes SBAR communication method Requirements Active RN license (CT or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CPI, NIHSS, and TNCC preferred Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required Community hospital experience required Preferred experience with Cerner charting system Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Experience with Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring Central line care and management experience required Proficient in starting and maintaining IVs Experience caring for ventilated patients and ventilator management Skilled in titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips Additional Information Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, emergency response, infection prevention, and isolation precautions/PPE Blue scrubs required Unit accepts first-time travelers Candidates residing within 75 miles are considered local candidates American Traveler Job ID P-748277.
