Classify the requirements into applicable types. Anticipate the solution risks and issues during requirements gathering phase, inform relevant stakeholders and recommend corrective steps. Contribute to the creation of user stories for software components, applications, or complex. Assist in design of software solutions such that the processes and software applications work in tandem for specific software components and modules of a product. Evaluate trade-offs while designing a component based on the business requirements. Assist in conversion of HLD (High Level Design) to create detailed designs using mock screens, pseudo codes, and detailed functional logic of the modules for specific modules and components of a product. Create and configure minimalistic software code for entire the software component or software application and ensure the components are meeting business and technical requirements, non-functional requirements, low-maintenance, high-availability, and high-scalability needs. Assist in the selection of appropriate languages and software development standards and tools for software coding and configuration. Take initiative to learn the fundamentals of different coding languages and frameworks that would be useful for future scope of work. Build scripts for automation of repetitive and routine tasks in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery), testing, or any other process. Implement telemetry features as required independently. Ensure security policy requirements are properly applied to software components and applications during code development and configuration. Map the customer requirements into test objectives. Identify and create test cases for the component or module. Execute test cases to test the code and detect errors and defects for the entire component. Execute different types of testing using appropriate testing tools based on the testing needs. Track and analyze defects for the component or module and carry out regression testing to fix defects in all instances of code changes. Analyze defects from past software engineering solutions to avoid recurrence of similar defects. Troubleshoot performance and availability bottlenecks for the application. Conduct complex maintenance procedures for applications independently. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the application by tracking and analyzing appropriate metrics. Perform maintenance (corrective, adaptive, perfective) and re-engineering activities. Analyze application logs, maintenance activity data, and performance data and provide analysis. Evaluate change requests to identify those which are valid and feasible.Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year of experience in software engineering or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 3 years of experience in software engineering or related area.Skills required: Experience designing and developing web applications using JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience implementing responsive user interfaces using React.js and its core principles. Experience managing component state using libraries and patterns including Redux and React Context. Experience implementing server-side rendering (SSR) using frameworks to improve application performance. Experience optimizing frontend build processes and application performance through effective configuration of build and bundling mechanisms. Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs using Node.js to support data exchange and system integration. Experience building and operating GraphQL queries to support efficient data flow between frontend and backend systems. Experience diagnosing and resolving API integration issues by analyzing system interactions and data flows across services. Experience identifying and resolving frontend performance bottlenecks through analysis of rendering behavior and client-side performance characteristics. Experience applying version control best practices with Git for branching, merging, and collaborative development workflows. Experience implementing accessibility best practices and validating web applications using assistive technologies including NVDA, TalkBack, and VoiceOver, to ensure inclusive user experiences. Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions tools. Experience defining testing approaches and ensuring adequate test coverage through unit and integration testing. Experience analyzing application performance and operational metrics to identify issues and drive reliability and performance improvements. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and contribute to technical solutions in Agile development environments. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.Salary Range: $187,741/year to $234,000/year.
