Part-Time Senior Accountant - MS Dynamics 365

StevenDouglas is partnering with a client in West Houston that is in search of a Part-Time Senior Accountant . This is a part-time position (20 hours/week), with potential to grow into a full-time/permanent position within the organization. This position will work in office on a hybrid basis. MS Dynamics 365 experience is required for the position.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting inbox including AP, vendor and customer communications, and invoice processing; build out the AP process
• Monthly recurring billing on the 15th and project billing randomly; monitor customer billing items
• Submit payroll journal entries (payroll processed through a third-party provider)
• Post monthly depreciation entries
• Assist with documentation and rewriting of SOPs due to system transition
• Assist with month-end close duties, and likely owning that in the future

Requirements:

• Proficiency in MS Dynamics 365 (Required) — must have experience in this system, including the Project Operations module, and be able to navigate and troubleshoot
• 5+ years of Accounting experience
• Small to mid-size company environments required
• Team player, collaborative, dependable, trainable, willing to roll up their sleeves
• Ability to work independently in a lean department
