Quick Facts Location: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI (22101 Moross Road) Start Date: 01/01/2027 End Date/Duration: Approximately until 01/24/2027, with potential recurring coverage twice monthly afterward Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM; night and weekend call coverage Hours/Week: 40 hours/week minimum Employment Type: Locum, with potential locum-to-perm options Certifications: Active medical license in Michigan; Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine preferred Experience: Relevant MFM experience required Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: To be discussed upon application Benefits include: Competitive pay packages (W-2) Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, travel, and certification reimbursements Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do Review and round on inpatient maternal-fetal medicine patients alongside residents Provide inpatient and outpatient consults, including in-person evaluations when needed Supervise residents during high-risk OB clinics at Warren as required Interpret ultrasounds and manage ultrasound services, including procedures such as amniocentesis, cerclage, and external cephalic version (ECV) Perform high-risk procedures: amniocentesis, cerclage, ECV, and chorionic villus sampling (preferred) Participate in high-acuity patient management within the Level III NICU setting Support high- and low-risk obstetric patients in a busy hospital environment What You Need Required: Michigan medical license Board Certified or eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine Experience performing high-risk obstetrics procedures Preferred: Prior experience interpreting ultrasounds and performing CVS Experience supervising residents or students About the Assignment This assignment is based at a leading hospital in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI, supporting both inpatient high-risk obstetric care and outpatient services. The service handles approximately 3,000 deliveries annually and provides expert care for both high- and low-risk pregnancies. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide essential consults, ultrasound interpretation, and procedures, all without delivery or GYN surgery responsibilities.
