Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients
- Assess patient needs, plan and implement care, monitor responses, and adjust plans as needed
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate admissions, discharges, and care transition
- Document thoroughly in the electronic health record; ensure patient safety and infection control practices
- Communicate clearly with patients and families; respond promptly to changes in condition and escalate when needed

Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing; Nursys license verification
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
- Strong communication skills; ability to work independently on an admission-focused unit with high patient turnover
- Must meet mandatory holiday coverage: able to work Thanksgiving or the day after, and either Christmas Eve/Day or New Year’s Eve/Day
- Education: RN program graduate from an accredited institution
- Resume and profile must include no gaps greater than 60 days; include skills checklist and references; provide certification card
