Machine Operator

Elwood Staffing is looking for a dependable, experienced Machine Operator for an anodizing company located near Mentone, IN! This position involves working in an industrial manufacturing/foundry-type environment around processing tanks, heated oil, and metal parts.

Machine Operator Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $16.00 / hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:00pm )
  • Operate and monitor chromate processing equipment
  • Load and unload metal parts into processing tanks
  • Handle materials throughout the finishing process
  • Work around heated oil, tanks, and industrial equipment
  • Monitor parts throughout the treatment process Inspect finished parts for quality and defects
  • Assist with basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting
  • Safely work from an elevated catwalk approximately 3 feet off the ground

Machine Operator Qualifications:

  • Previous machine operating experience REQUIRED
  • Must be comfortable working in a factory/foundry-type environment
  • Must be comfortable working around heated oil, processing tanks, and industrial machinery
  • Must be able to safely move around and work on a catwalk approximately 3 feet off the ground
  • Must be comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical work throughout the shift
  • Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail
  • Must be dependable with good attendance and a stable work history
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
