Exercise Physiologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Exercise Physiologist to develop and oversee individualized exercise programs for patients in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will utilize expertise in exercise physiology, cardiovascular health, and patient education to support safe, effective, and outcome-driven care.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized exercise prescriptions based on patient assessments and medical history.
• Conduct fitness evaluations, exercise testing, and patient orientations.
• Monitor patients during exercise sessions and adjust programs as needed.
• Perform manual blood pressure and glucose monitoring.
• Educate patients on exercise, cardiovascular health, and lifestyle modification.
• Recognize and respond to medical concerns and emergencies, including CPR when required.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinical and organizational standards.

 

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant clinical or exercise physiology experience.
• Current AHA BLS Certification or equivalent.
• Experience with fitness assessments, exercise testing, and exercise prescription.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular conditioning and chronic disease management.
• Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills.
