Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Saturday to Monday Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (Must be from American Heart Association) Must-Have Skills/Experience: Must be comfortable supporting patients and surgeons with significant traumatic injuries. Ability to anticipate the necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures. Highly skilled in handling a range of surgical cases from basic lap procedures to open, complicated abdominal and chest cavity trauma cases. Must be competent and confident in surgical interventions. Description: Candidates must be able to clear and start within 10 days to be eligible. This facility is a 198-bed, level III trauma center that includes state-of-the-art operating suites. The organization provides healthcare services across a diverse population, covering a wide range of medical, surgical, and rehabilitation needs. Services include inpatient care, a childbirth center, a cancer center, a nephrology unit, a pediatric unit, a behavioral health unit, a day surgery center, and extensive imaging and lab testing services. The facility has received accolades for its accreditation in various services and is recognized as one of the most beautiful hospitals in the country. The community features opportunities for outdoor activities, including hiking, kayaking, and historical sightseeing. This role requires the ability to work across different specialties including Urology, Neuro, General, GYN, Podiatry, Plastic, Ortho, Dental, and ENT. Patient ratios in the operating room are 1:1. The electronic health record system used is Cerner. The patient population served is diverse, including individuals of all ages.
