CNC Machinist

(Lavonia, GA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a CNC Machine Operator in steel manufacturing. Essential Duties Operate CNC machines to cut, shape, and finish steel components according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders Set up machines, including tool changes and calibration Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment Inspect finished products using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies Requirements/Skills Proven experience operating CNC machinery, preferably in steel manufacturing Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Strong attention to detail and quality control Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and varying temperatures Equal Opportunity Statement Flexicrew Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with FTS is governed on the basis of merit, competence, and qualifications.
