This is a full-time, W-2 leadership role with both clinical and administrative responsibilities. As Medical Director, you will play a key role in program leadership, clinician engagement, and collaboration with hospital administration, while maintaing a clinical presence to support quality patient care. Join us at Upson Regional Medical Center and be part of an exciting new chapter in healthcare excellence!\nFacility Highlights:\n\n 1 Day Hospitalist Physician (7a-7p)\n 1 Day NP/PA (7a-7p)\n Dedicated Nocturnist NP/PA (7p-7a)\n Average Daily Census: ~30 \n 115-bed community hospital\n 10-bed Open ICU with tele-intensivist support\n EMR: Meditech Expanse\n\n Position Overview:\n\n Leadership - Provide oversight, mentorship, and guidance for a team of day hospitalists and APPs.\n Clinical - Balance of clinical shifts and protected administrative time.\n Scheduling - Standard 7on/7off moded, with flexibility in administration coverage.\n Engagement - Partner closely with Core and hospital leadership to maintain program stability, quality metrics and clinician satisfacation.\n Collaboration - Work in tadem with Emergency Medicine leadership to ensure coordinated patient care.\n\nQualifications:\n\n Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine\n Prior Hospital Medicine leadership experience required\n Active Georgia medical license; or eligible to obtain Georgia medical license\n Demonstrated ability to lead teams, collaborate with administration and drive quality outcomes\n ACLS required\n\nWhat we offer:\n\n W-2 salaried position\n Comprehensive benefits package\n No non-compete\n\nIntegrated EM & HM Partnership\nCore Clinical Partners also manages the Emergency Medicine service at Upson, creating strong collaboration between EM and Hospital Medicine.
