The HR Consultant ensures that each client's human capital serves the best interests of the company. The consultant will work with a handful of clients on a variety of HR tasks including but not limited to:

  • Advising management on the administration of human resources policies and procedures
  • Serving as internal consultants by analyzing a company's current HR programs and recommending solutions
  • Developing, revising, and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Ensuring HR programs and services follow established policies and procedures and state/federal laws and regulations
  • Preparing and maintaining reports related to specific HR projects
  • Assisting with the development and coordination of recommended changes regarding workflow
  • Developing methods for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects
  • Conducting audits of HR activities to ensure compliance
  • Presenting training sessions related to specific HR programs

Basic & Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, communications, business administration, or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of corporate or consultative HR exposure/experience required.
  • Exposure and experience working in all facets of HR including but not limited to: recruiting/retention, culture development, learning & development, benefits & compensation management, and coaching at the jr/sr levels.
  • Previous experience with a variety of HR systems.
  • An ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
