Staff Accountant

We are partnering with a rapidly growing private equity firm in Boca Raton, FL that is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join its expanding finance team. This is a high-visibility role offering direct exposure to fund-level accounting, portfolio company activity, and senior leadership. Responsibilities Perform daily cash monitoring and prepare timely bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and entities Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions with a high level of accuracy Review, track, and reconcile corporate credit card activity and expense reporting Allocate expenses across funds and portfolio companies in accordance with investment structures Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met Prepare and maintain detailed workpapers to support financial statements and reporting Reconcile intercompany balances and ensure proper eliminations across entities Prepare and post recurring and ad hoc journal entries Assist with vendor onboarding, due diligence, and compliance procedures Support investor reporting, including preparation of notices, capital calls, and distributions Assist in maintaining and updating financial models, forecasts, and budgets Partner with senior leadership on special projects, process improvements, and ad hoc analysis Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 1–3 years of accounting experience (public accounting or financial services experience is a plus) Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, etc.) Experience with large ERP systems Interested?
