Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional to take on a broad range of general accounting responsibilities in a hybrid role based in Westlake, OH. Responsibilities Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate/resolve variances Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives Support internal and external audit requests, including preparation of documentation and schedules Monitor and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial integrity Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for process improvements Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting Provide guidance and support to junior accounting team members Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements Experience with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) Strong Excel skills, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, and financial models Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communication and organizational skills Comfortable working independently within a hybrid work schedule CPA or active pursuit of CPA licensure preferred What Our Client Offers Competitive pay with opportunities for merit-based increases Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options Hybrid work model with flexible scheduling Professional development stipend and support for certifications Employee referral bonus program Collaborative, close-knit team environment with an open-door management style #J-18808-Ljbffr Ringside Talent Acquisition Partners
