Therole partners with operational leaders to improve business performance, strengthen controls, and support strategicdecision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesMonth-End CloseCoordinate month-end close activities, maintain closing checklists, prepare journal entries,perform reconciliations, analyze variances, and support timely and accurate financial reporting. (30%)Compliance & ReportingEnsure SOX and GAAP compliance; prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting;support audits, tax schedules, and government reporting requirements. (25%)Forecasting & BudgetingLead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting activities including production, labor,energy, sales, and raw materials. Identify cost trends and financial risks. (20%)People LeadershipLead and develop accountants and accounting clerks by setting goals, managingperformance, prioritizing work, and fostering collaboration. (15%)Business PartnershipSupport operational leaders with financial analysis, capital project justification,cost-saving initiatives, and maintenance of internal controls.
