STEM Teacher

Job Details: Location: Fort Collins High School, Fort Collins, CO 80525 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $48,000.00 - $66,413.00 Anticipated start date: August 4, 2026 Position Purpose The STEM teacher works under the supervision of the Academic Dean and is responsible for meeting all scheduled classes and providing instruction in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of CEC, the community college, and the approved course syllabus. Job Duties Upholds CECs beliefs found on the CEC website. Develops and administers STEM education curriculum consistent with community college objectives. Develops lesson plans and instructional materials to enhance learning. Designs learning activities to demonstrate the application of course work to everyday life. Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and modifies instructional methods accordingly. Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning. Organizes and maintains Infinite Campus (IC) for accurate and complete recordkeeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievements, and daily attendance as required in CEC policies. Ensures that student conduct conforms with CECs Student and Family Handbook and CEC policies. Collaborates with other CEC staff members and participates in staff meetings and professional development as requested by the Head of School. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Degree in STEM related field. Experience with project based learning. Strong organizational and time management skills. Experience with coding preferred. 3D printing and CAD experience desired. Conditions of Employment All offers of employment are conditional upon a successful background check and references.
