Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Directing physical therapy interventions aimed at relieving pain, preventing disability, and facilitating recovery according to individual care plans.
• Supervising physical therapy assistants, ensuring that treatments are implemented effectively and in alignment with established protocols.
• Conducting detailed evaluations of patients' functional abilities through tests assessing muscle, nerve, and joint performance.
• Assessing the home environment of patients, providing recommendations for modifications that enhance their independence and safety.
• Administering various treatments—including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the application of physical agents—to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitoring and recording patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans and promptly communicating changes to physicians.
• Preparing detailed clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries for patient records.
• Engaging in continuous communication with patients and their families, educating them about physical therapy programs and device usage.
• Collaborating in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and refine comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Contributing to the development and review of care plans, ensuring dynamic and effective treatment strategies.
• Performing on-site functional assessments and making necessary revisions to support individual patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation clients to individuals with chronic pain and mobility issues. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a strong understanding of therapeutic principles and practices.
• At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient or acute care setting.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.

Compensation and Benefits

Vitality Physio-Rehab Center values the contributions of our team members, and as such, we offer a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000.
