Patient Service Specialist Leesburg, VA | Full-Time | Onsite Are you a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping people and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment? We're seeking a reliable and compassionate Patient Service Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for patients in a busy outpatient medical office. In this role, you'll manage front desk operations, provide exceptional patient service, coordinate scheduling, and support providers and clinical staff to ensure a positive patient experience from check-in to check-out. What You'll Do + Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience + Check patients in and out for appointments + Complete patient registration and verify demographic information + Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up visits + Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions and requests + Document and update patient information in the EMR system + Support providers and clinical staff with administrative needs + Maintain accurate patient records and office documentation + Balance multiple priorities while delivering excellent customer service What We're Looking For + Previous medical office, patient registration, medical receptionist, or healthcare customer service experience + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Experience working with EMR/EHR systems preferred + Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office setting + Comfortable answering phones while assisting patients in person + Reliable, professional, and dependable attendance + Proficient computer and data entry skills Work Environment + Collaborative team environment with physicians and clinical staff + Primary front desk point of contact for patients + Mix of patient interaction, phone support, and administrative responsibilities + Free onsite parking available Schedule + Monday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM + Tuesday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM + Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM + Thursday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM + Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Why Apply? + Stable full-time opportunity with a well-established healthcare practice + Friendly, supportive team environment + Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the patient experience + Consistent weekday schedule with no weekends If you enjoy helping patients, have a strong customer service mindset, and are looking for an opportunity to grow within healthcare, we'd love to hear from you! Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leesburg, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
