Role Overview

We are seeking a senior SAP OTC / FI-AR Lead with strong hands-on experience implementing and supporting SAP Digital Payments Add-On (DPA) with Stripe .

The ideal candidate will combine deep SAP FI-AR / OTC functional expertise with practical experience configuring, integrating, testing, and troubleshooting SAP DPA and Stripe (or similar) payment processing within an S/4HANA environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP OTC / FI-AR and digital payment requirements, solution design, and Finance workshops.
• Own Fit-to-Standard workshops and drive Finance/business process decisions.
• Design and implement SAP Digital Payments Add-On (DPA) with Stripe .
• Configure and support Stripe merchant/account setup, payment service provider determination, payment methods, and transaction processing .
• Lead end-to-end payment scenarios including:
  • Payment authorization
  • Capture / settlement
  • Refunds
  • Authorization cancellation / reauthorization
  • Payment failures and retries
  • Digital payment advice
  • Customer payment/card registration and tokenization
• Troubleshoot SAP DPA Stripe integration issues , payment transaction failures, status discrepancies, and settlement/reconciliation issues.
• Ensure appropriate integration between Stripe, SAP DPA, S/4HANA FI-AR, OTC, and GL .
• Configure and validate merchant IDs / Stripe accounts and payment routing as required. SAP DPA supports multiple PSP accounts/merchant IDs and determines the applicable PSP/merchant based on configured rules.
• Support AR clearing, cash clearing, reconciliation, and month-end close related to digital payment transactions.
• Lead SIT/UAT, defect resolution, payment scenario testing, and business sign-off .
• Work with Finance, Treasury, AR, OTC, IT, Stripe, and integration teams to resolve production issues.
• Document payment flows, configuration, business processes, and operational procedures.

Mandatory Requirements

• 10+ years SAP Finance experience , with strong FI-AR / OTC expertise.
• Strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance experience
• Prior experience with Automotive or Manufacturing industry
• Hands-on implementation/support experience with SAP Digital Payments Add-On (DPA) .
• Hands-on experience integrating SAP DPA with Stripe - Preferred.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Stripe payment processing within SAP DPA .
• Strong understanding of authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, tokenization, payment status, and payment failures .
• Experience with Stripe (or similar) merchant/account configuration and payment transaction flows .
• Strong FI-AR understanding including customer accounting, incoming payments, clearing, cash clearing, reconciliation, and GL integration .
• Experience with OTC processes and customer payment journeys .
• Hands-on experience with SIT/UAT, defect management, Finance workshops, Fit-to-Standard, and business sign-off .
• Strong understanding of month-end close and digital payment reconciliation .
• Ability to work directly with Finance/business stakeholders and translate requirements into SAP solutions.

Strongly Preferred

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud / Private Edition Customer is currently on-prem .
• Experience with SAP Fiori payment applications .
• Experience troubleshooting SAP DPA/BTP connectivity and integration .
• Experience with multiple Stripe merchant IDs/accounts and payment routing.
• Experience with payment-by-link / external payment scenarios .
• Knowledge of PCI/tokenization considerations and secure payment processing.
