IT & Hardware Technician - Event Technology

Veloxity is a fast-growing event tech company powering experiences with phone charging stations, interactive touch screens, and LED digital signage. We work with event planners, marketers, and venues across North America and internationally to elevate event experiences through technology and branding. Position Overview As our IT & Hardware Technician , you’ll work closely with our CTO to prepare, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain the technology that powers our events. From loading digital content onto our equipment to diagnosing hardware issues and providing technical support, you’ll help ensure everything is working properly before, during, and after each event. This is a hands-on, on-site role that combines technology, hardware repair, customer support, and warehouse operations. You’ll also assist our operations team with preparing equipment for daily shipments and may have opportunities to travel to events for equipment setup and technical support. If you enjoy working with computers and electronics, solving technical problems, and being part of live events, this role is for you. Loading graphics, videos, branding, and applications onto charging stations, touch screens, and LED displays Configuring software and device settings for upcoming events Testing equipment before and after events to ensure everything is working properly Troubleshooting and repairing computers, charging stations, touch screens, and LED displays Performing software updates, hardware repairs, and routine equipment maintenance Answering technical support calls and helping customers troubleshoot issues remotely Working with our CTO to resolve technical issues and improve equipment reliability Assisting the operations team with picking, packing, and preparing equipment for daily shipments Inspecting and organizing equipment returning from events Occasionally traveling to events for equipment setup and on-site technical support What We’re Looking For A reliable, detail-oriented team player who enjoys working with technology and solving problems Experience with computer hardware, software installation, or electronics troubleshooting Comfortable working with Windows computers and learning new technology Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently Good communication skills and comfortable assisting customers over the phone Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment Comfortable with hands-on warehouse work, including lifting, moving, and packing equipment Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team Willingness to occasionally travel for event setup and technical support Experience with LED displays, digital signage, audiovisual equipment, or electronics repair is a plus What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Health insurance benefits for eligible employees Hands-on training and the opportunity to work directly with our CTO Opportunities to develop your technical skills and grow within the company Opportunity to travel and work on exciting live events A fast-paced, team-oriented environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Veloxity
