Senior Data Scientist, Innovation Lab

Salary: $65,000 - 105,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a PhD in Machine Learning, Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
• We expect at least 2 years of experience in AI, data science, or predictive modeling.
• We need strong programming skills in multiple languages, including Python.
• We value hands-on experience with deep learning, such as CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, and attention-based models.
• We look for machine learning expertise with methods such as SVM, GLM, boosting, and random forest, as well as graph models or reinforcement learning.
• We require experience using open-source ML/DL tools such as PyTorch, Keras, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and pandas.
• We need experience working with large-scale data analysis in PySpark.
• We prefer familiarity with LLMs and the tools used in the generative AI space.
• We look for experience with Hadoop and NoSQL technologies such as MapReduce, Hive, HBase, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
• We value experience adapting advanced algorithms to solve practical business problems.
• We prefer exposure to online and mobile marketing analytics.
• We consider GPU programming experience a plus.

• We research and develop analytical solutions for the Experian Innovation Lab.
• We prototype new products and evaluate data assets.
• We build advanced machine learning models to uncover insights from structured and unstructured data.
• We apply the most suitable machine learning, deep learning, and data-processing techniques to extract value from information.
• We design efficient data structures and storage approaches to improve data manipulation and retrieval.
• We explore and use tools for data processing and information access.
• We analyze large datasets to identify patterns and document findings.
• We develop algorithms to solve complex technical and business challenges.
• We validate model performance and assess ROI and business benefits.
