Sr GCC Tech Analyst

Responsibilities Field customer inquiries relating to Globex functionality, market events, connectivity, business technology, and product schedules. Conduct architectural discussions regarding current and future states of Globex or other trading systems. Perform technical investigations for both internal and external clients, articulating complex problems and solutions to a broad range of audiences. Develop ad‑hoc queries and perform complex data analysis to support or change policy, process, procedures, and technology. Support all deployments, including bug fixes and new functionality (may include weekend or after‑hours support). Key Accountabilities Provide accurate, precise, and timely information to consumers of services while minimizing risk. Identify business needs, understand consequences, and determine the best course of action. Assist with order cancellation, status, and net positions. Offer functional and technical support for all electronic trading and clearing systems and applications such as iLink, MDP, CME Direct, Drop Copy, STP, Corvil, Splunk, FIX Protocol, etc. Perform mission‑critical impact analysis using all available tools. Respond to, investigate, and properly escalate alerts and issues impacting system and market performance and integrity. Continuously evaluate current processes and introduce improvements to enhance efficiency. Customer Service Demonstrate professional communication and conduct. Maintain a friendly tone in written and verbal correspondence. Provide concise, thoughtful, and deliberate responses. Take accountability for one’s actions and work. Treat customer concerns with high importance. Teamwork Be approachable, courteous, and proactive in assisting teammates. Be receptive to feedback and willing to improve. Maintain a solution‑oriented mindset when confronted with challenges. Ensure the team is knowledgeable and prepared for upcoming enhancements. Qualifications 3+ years of trading industry experience. Prior experience supporting customers via verbal and written communication. Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office suite. Familiarity with Unix-based systems and command‑line usage. Understanding of the FIX Protocol. Basic knowledge of network protocols, topology, and tools (preferred). Familiarity with databases such as Oracle or Hadoop. Experience working in a mission‑critical, time‑sensitive, high‑stress environment. Advanced Excel skills. Futures industry experience (preferred). Working Hours & Location The role supports the U.S. Second Shift – Sunday to Thursday, 10:00a.m.–6:30p.m. CST (subject to change). It is hybrid; the incumbent is required to work onsite in the Chicago office three days per week with flexibility. Compensation Base salary range: $81,100 – $135,100. The actual salary offered will depend on experience, skills, education, and internal comparability. The compensation program includes an annual target bonus opportunity and a broad‑based equity program.
