Key Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific, direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process
• Provide nursing care in accordance with Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care
• Assume leadership responsibilities within the unit, including appropriate delegation of work to other levels of staff
• Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Active ACLS certification required prior to contract start date
• Active BLS certification required prior to contract start date
• Active PALS or ENPC certification required prior to contract start date
• Active NRP certification required prior to contract start date
• If any required certifications are not yet active, a booked course must be confirmed at time of Clinical Orientation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Familiarity with specialty-specific standards of patient care in emergency nursing
