About the Role: The role of the Lease Construction Manager (LCM) requires effective interpersonal, communication, organizational skills, ability to self-direct, demonstrated background in data center design, engineering, controls, operational requirements, and an emphasis on project/construction management.

Key Responsibilities: The Key Responsibilities of the Lease Construction Manager includes, but are not limited to:

• Serve as an advocate for managing a safe worksite
• Identify and manage stakeholder dependencies and construction deliverables and handoffs with cross-functional teams including Security, Data Center Engineering, Data Center Operations, Site Selection & Acquisition, and Environmental Health & Safety.
• Manage lease providers and support-associated teams and partners in the delivery of RFS ("Ready for Service") for each lease site location
• This is an onsite position.

Business Processes:

• Maintain the requirements stated in the lease agreement using industry best practices
• Manage Lease Providers and associated internal partners to deliver RFS
• Drive deployment of solutions that can be standardized globally across data center development projects
• Facilitate decision-making to drive solutions, schedules, and manage change as required
• Apply influence, strategies, and negotiation skills to identify options and recommend solutions

Communication:

• Provide project single point of contact for project development and delivery
• Coordinate meetings and activities of Lease Providers and internal SMEs
• Attend scheduled owner/architect/contractor (OAC) and other project meetings, and report as necessary
• Report project progress on scope, schedule, and budget weekly, or as required
• Provide weekly project status reporting to organizational standards

Accountability:

• Responsible for managing the construction process of achieving RFS
• Work independently in support of the Data Center Development Project Team
• Track lessons learned and identify improvements to share across groups
• Route RFS approval to all stakeholders and regional approvers
• Ensure lease provider compliance with lease agreement contracts

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in construction project management of Data Centers or mission-critical facilities
• Ability to read and understand commercial lease agreements
• Construction Health & Safety knowledge; OSHA 30 or equivalent preferred

Desired Qualifications:

• PMP certification
• LEED certification
• Degree and/or professional licenses in Construction Management or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar experience
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
• Experience managing multiple large multi-faceted projects
• Ability to independently manage deadlines and support staff
• Ability to influence cross-discipline teams

Location: (Hybrid Role: 3 Days a week)

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $90,000 – $110,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
