Were looking for a Staff Accountant who is ready to take the next step in their career, gaining hands-on experience across financial reporting, monthly close, and day-to-day accounting operations. In this role, you will support a multi-property portfolio while developing the skills and confidence to take on increasing ownership over time. This role supports a 7-property portfolio across senior living and multifamily communities. You will be involved in full-cycle accounting, monthly close, and financial reporting, working closely with both corporate and onsite teams. You will be part of a collaborative accounting group that values accuracy, consistency, and growth. This is an opportunity to deepen your accounting foundation while gaining exposure to how financials directly impact property performance./ph3What Youll Own/h3ulliSupport full-cycle accounting, including monthly close activities/liliPrepare and assist in reviewing monthly financial statements and supporting schedules/liliHandle journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications to maintain accurate general ledgers/liliPerform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations/liliSupport Accounts Payable processes, including vendor setup, invoice review, and weekly check runs/liliAssist in managing key payments such as taxes, mortgages, rent, and lease obligations/liliMaintain fixed asset schedules and supporting documentation/liliPartner with onsite teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting/liliContribute to ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects/li/ulh3What Success Looks Like/h3ulliYou build a strong understanding of the portfolio and accounting processes within your first 60 to 90 days/liliMonthly close tasks are completed accurately and on time/liliFinancial data is organized, reliable, and easy for the team to use/liliYou identify discrepancies and work through them with support from the team/liliYou communicate effectively with both accounting and operations partners/liliYou continue to grow in confidence, ownership, and technical skill/li/ulh3Who This Role Is For/h3ulli1 to 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in property accounting, multifamily, hospitality, or public accounting/liliBachelors degree in Accounting or related field required/liliExperience supporting monthly close, reconciliations, and general ledger activity/liliStrong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data/liliOrganized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities/liliComfortable working onsite in a team-oriented environment/li/ulh3What Sets You Apart/h3ulliYou are eager to learn and take on new challenges/liliYou take pride in accuracy and follow through on your work/liliYou are proactive in asking questions and seeking clarity/liliYou communicate clearly and work well with different teams/liliYou are looking for a role where you can grow and build your career/li/ulh3Why This Role/h3ulliHands-on exposure to full-cycle accounting early in your career/liliOpportunity to support a multi-property portfolio and learn real estate financials/liliCollaborative team environment with strong support and guidance/liliClear path to grow your skills and take on more ownership over time/li/ulh3Compensation Benefits/h3pAt IREG, we invest in our people, because strong leaders build strong communities.
