No experience or licenses required — we will train you. Apex Wealth is an independent, fiduciary financial firm in Danvers, MA, serving over 200 families across more than 30 states. We're hiring our first dedicated operations support person, and we're far more interested in finding someone motivated and detail-oriented than someone who already knows the industry. We'll teach you the rest. ABOUT US We were built on a simple idea: people make better financial decisions when someone takes the time to teach them. We serve clients virtually across the country, but our team works together in person out of our Danvers office. We offer insurance products and services through Apex Wealth LLC and investment advisory services through MariPau Wealth Management, LLC, an SEC-registered investment advisor. THE ROLE This is the person our clients rely on from the moment they say yes. As our Client Service Associate, you'll provide operations and administrative support to the team, with your main focus on helping clients through onboarding — the first call, the application, the transfer paperwork, the follow-up, and the moment the account is finally set up. You'll help gather what's needed to complete applications, coordinate transfers and funding, and keep clients informed at every step so they never have to wonder where things stand. You’ll work alongside our Operations Manager, who will train you on the paperwork, the platforms, and the products from scratch — no assumptions about what you already know. As you get comfortable, more of the day-to-day work becomes yours to run. Onboarding is the core of the job, but this is a small firm and the role is genuinely varied. Some weeks you'll be deep in applications; others you'll be prepping files for client meetings, coordinating schedules, handling correspondence, or helping with whatever the team needs. If you like knowing exactly what your day looks like before it starts, this probably isn't the right seat. If you like being the person who makes the whole operation run, it is. WHAT YOU'LL DO Support client onboarding calls — sitting in first, running them as you're trained up Help gather client information and complete new account and policy applications accurately Coordinate asset transfers and funding, following applications from start to finish Keep clients updated on where their application stands, and follow up with providers so clients don't have to Prepare files and paperwork ahead of client review meetings Maintain accurate records in our CRM Assist clients with service requests and provide support after accounts are open Mail welcome kits and issued policies; help clients get set up with online account access Manage scheduling — booking, confirming, and coordinating client meetings Provide general administrative support to the team (calendar management, correspondence, document prep) WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We care far more about how you work than what you've worked on. Motivated — you want to learn a real profession, not just fill a seat Willing to wear multiple hats; the job spans operations and administrative support, and the mix changes week to week Meticulous attention to detail — one missed field on an application means a delay for a client, and we notice people who catch things Genuinely comfortable on the phone with clients, many of whom are at or near retirement and want to be walked through things patiently Organized enough to keep a dozen things moving at once without losing track of any of them Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to explain paperwork in plain language Comfortable with computers and quick to pick up new software — we'll teach you every system we use Discreet, with a real commitment to confidentiality Coachable — you take direction well, ask questions early, and don't guess when you're unsure That's the whole list. If you've never worked in financial services, never held a license, and don't know what an annuity is, you can still be exactly the right person for this job. We'll teach you the industry. We can't teach you to care about getting things right. If you happen to bring a client-facing background where accuracy mattered — administrative, medical office, banking, hospitality, customer service — that experience will serve you well here, but it isn't a requirement. WHY THIS ROLE Because this is the first hire on our operations team, you'll help shape how that team gets built. As we grow and add support staff, the person in this seat will have learned the business from the inside. There's a real path here.
