FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (FULL AND PART TIME)

Food Service Worker / Cashier We are hiring immediately for full and part‑time Food Service Worker / Cashier positions. Location: Ilani Casino, 3710 Northwest 319th Street, Ridgefield, WA 98642. Online applications accepted only. Job Details Schedule: Full and part time; days may vary with a closing shift. Weekend and holiday availability required. Pay: $17.50 – $18.00 per hour. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weigh and measure ingredients. Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards. Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment. Store foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures. Clean work areas, equipment and utensils. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements. Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service. Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service‑oriented manner. Relay relevant information to supervisor. Perform sales transactions. Enter sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded. Make change, accept cards and other acceptable payment methods. Issue receipts to customers. Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds. Maintain assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring the cash drawer complies with overage/shortage standards. Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must have previous food service experience. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation. Certain positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening.
