Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Washington, North Carolina

Make an impact supporting elementary students' communication development in a dynamic school environment. This full-time contract opportunity offers a meaningful way to put your passion for pediatric speech-language pathology to work, helping students from PreK through 5th grade achieve their communication goals.


Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with a caseload of approximately 50 students managing a variety of communication disorders. You'll split your time across two school sites-spending four days a week at one location and one day at a second-for the duration of the assignment, from April 17th through June 10th.


Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Current SLP-CCC certification required
• Experience in pediatric and school settings preferred
• Able to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans
• Skilled in fostering engagement and building rapport with students
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
• Knowledge of screening, evaluations, and documentation of progress

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students
• Conduct screenings and formal evaluations as needed
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with the school team
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
• Monitor progress and communicate results, supporting each student's unique needs
