Job Summary We are looking for a proactive, growth‑minded Market Analyst to embed within our cross‑functional Customer Experience (CX) POD. In this role, you won’t just look for bugs—you will be the ultimate guardian of our product quality, user experience, and data integrity. The CX POD builds and maintains our entire user‑facing ecosystem—including our core website, post‑login user experience, CRM, chat, and telephony touchpoints. As a Market Analyst champion, you will own technical and functional testing, manage test environments, investigate backend data, and ensure user data is flawlessly captured and classified against every step in our marketing attribution funnel. What You Will Bring Experience: 3+ years of software quality assurance, ideally within a growth‑focused product or marketing‑tech environment. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. HTML/CSS/JavaScript knowledge and understanding of web API interactions. Familiarity with testing web ecosystems, post‑login portals, and integrations with CRM or communication platforms is highly desirable. Database and Linux skills: proficiency in accessing and querying SQL and NoSQL databases, navigating Linux to analyze application logs. Scripting mindset: experience with a scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ruby, etc.) for debugging, log parsing, or test enhancement. Agile collaboration: experience with Agile/Scrum workflows and modern test management/bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail). Duties and Responsibilities Drive Quality & Attribution Strategy: review requirements and technical designs to architect comprehensive test plans and scripts, balancing exploratory manual testing with a structured approach across the customer lifecycle. Guard the Marketing Funnel: validate web cookies, local storage, session states, JSON payloads, custom data‑layer objects, and cache behaviors to ensure data is captured and classified correctly at every stage. Own the Cross‑Channel Experience: build and perform unit, regression, and UAT testing cycles for web applications, portals, and integrated customer touchpoints (CRM, chat, telephony). Validate the End‑User Experience: perform robust compatibility and responsive‑design testing across diverse ecosystems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) and modern browsers. Manage the Release Lifecycle: serve as the gatekeeper for staging and QA environments, track and publish core testing KPIs (defect densities, open defect counts) to ensure smooth release cycles. Deep‑Dive Technical Debugging: use browser developer tools and API testing utilities (Postman, SoapUI) to inspect the DOM, evaluate network traffic, and dissect frontend and backend errors. Ensure Data & Performance Integrity: access and query databases to verify data integrity, CRM syncing, back‑end results, and assess website performance metrics such as Core Web Vitals. Investigate & Solve Problems: parse application logs in Linux server environments to isolate root causes of complex defects without relying on development support. Accessibility & Environment Management: conduct basic web accessibility compliance testing (WCAG 2.1, Section 508) and manage test accounts across environments. Support & Continuous Improvement: collect user feedback on product reliability, track and manage bugs thoroughly, and perform comprehensive regression testing when defects are resolved.
