CV/CT Surgery locum in Santa Monica, CA-May 1st & Ongoing-California license required-Out/Inpatient-Clinic & Call-$3,000 daily call rate Providence Saint John's Health Center 2121 Santa Monica Blvd Santa Monica, CA 90404 EMR-Epic Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgeon locum need California license required Outpatient/Inpatient Average patients per day 5-8 15 day credentialing wait LOCUM- Cardiothoracic/Cardiovascular Surgery CLEAN FILES PREFERRED, we cannot give temp privileges unless it is a clean file. If they choose to move forward and your provider does not have a clean file then we are looking at a later start date of around mid-July. JOB DETAILS: We are looking for 2 providers to cover a full-time need at Saint John's starting as soon as possible. Coverage is mainly needed to be back up urgent cases. Expectation would be that the provider is on 24hr call (would not need to be onsite) almost every day of the week. It can be split between two providers. We would need one provider onsite Wednesdays to be in clinic each week (7am-3pm). Guaranteed Hours: 8 per day - OT to apply 8 hours per day Noting this is only for clinic days all other shifts will be 24hr call with 3 hours of patient contact included. Coverage will need to start May 1st or as soon as granted temporary privileges (with a clean file) in May. EMCO canulation and management will be required procedures REQUIREMENTS: Active CA license and CA DEA Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of residency) Privileging: Privileges are required.
