Facilities Maintenance TechnicianJoin our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician! We're looking for a dependable team player to perform a variety of tasks related to the maintenance, repair, safety, and general upkeep of District buildings, grounds, and facilities.Salary Range: The advertised range for Facilities Maintenance Technician is $63,432 - $77,748 with a maximum opportunity of up to $93,300 with tenure and strong performance.Job Duties:Perform routine and preventative maintenance on District buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds.Assist with various construction projects as needed.Maintain grounds, landscaping, and other outdoor spaces including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, weed control, irrigation, pressure washing, and related activities.Move and assemble furniture, shelving, equipment, materials and supplies as needed.Safely operate and maintain a variety of common hand tools and power tools, vehicles, and equipment used in facilities and grounds maintenance, including tractors, mowers, RTVs, and similar equipment.Work collaboratively with Facilities staff and other District personnel to support the maintenance and operation of District facilities.Help coordinate work performed by student workers assisting with landscaping, cleaning, and other duties.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, vehicles, and landscaping equipment.Ability to identify building maintenance issues, determine corrective actions and determine when additional assistance is needed.Ability to follow established safety procedures and use good judgment and common sense in the working environment.Have the ability to work effectively and professionally to coordinate with District staff for a variety of projects and events.Ability to communicate in a clear and effective manner.Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and exercise sound judgment while accomplishing tasks required to maintain District facilities.Other:Possession of a valid Washington state driver's license and have a good driving record.Maintain a current CPR/First Aid card.Punctuality and regular attendance are required.Aerial lift certification is preferred but not required.Additional construction-related certifications are a plus but not required.Work Week: 4-Day Work Week / 10 Hours a Day: More Time, More Flexibility, More Balance!100% Employer-Paid Medical Coverage Comprehensive medical benefits fully covered by the company.Paid Sick Leave Includes 40 hours of Sick Leave annually, separate from our generous PTO accruals.Retirement Matching Funds Additional employer matching funds available for voluntary deferred compensation contributions, supporting your future savings.Please see the Benefits tab for a comprehensive list.
