You'll analyze traffic operations and impacts, develop signal timing and design plans, perform multimodal evaluations, and prepare supporting technical documentation. Join a dynamic, value-driven, client- and community-focused environment where your work creates a lasting positive impact for the people and communities we serve.Core ResponsibilitiesPerform traffic impact studies, and capacity analyses for intersections, corridors, and roadway networks.Analyze traffic operations using tools such as Synchro, HCS, VISSIM or similar software.Develop and review traffic signal timing plans, phasing diagrams, and traffic signal design plans.Conduct multimodal analyses for vehicles, pedestrian, bicyclists and transit.Prepare technical reports, exhibits, and design documentation.You'll Thrive Here If You HaveA 4-year degree in civil engineering3+ years of experienceAbility to obtain PTOEPE preferred, but not requiredAbility to write reportsFamiliarity with Windows suite, Syncro, VISSIM, and other traffic software packagesKnowledge of MUTCD, Highway Capacity Manual, AASHTO Guidelines FHWA Regulations & Guidance, ADA Standards (PROWAG & ADAAG), GDOT Traffic Signal Design Guidelines, GDOT Signing and Marking Design Guidelines, GDOT Driveway manual, GDOT Design Policy Manual, Roundabout Design Guide and GDOT Construction and StandardsMinimal travel involved, mostly in GeorgiaMembership and participation in Georgia Section ITE is desired.What You Can Expect From UsThe A-Team Experience is our employee program focused on helping our people thrive professionally, personally and as part of a community.
