About the Position

As our part-time Veterinarian, you will perform high-quality, high-volume spay and neuter surgeries while providing compassionate medical care for dogs and cats. You will work alongside an experienced team committed to delivering safe, efficient, and affordable services to pet owners and animal rescue organizations.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats.
• Conduct pre-operative examinations and determine surgical readiness.
• Monitor patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Conduct wellness appointments, administer vaccinations and provide preventive healthcare.
• Diagnose and treat minor medical conditions as appropriate.
• Ensure high standards of anesthesia, pain management, and patient safety.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Mentor and collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff.
• Promote best practices in animal welfare and preventive care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent).
• Current veterinary license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state.
• Experience with high-volume spay/neuter surgery.
• Excellent surgical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
