Our client in Macomb County is looking for a hands-on Quality Manager to make a real impact. What your day will look like:

• Lead and manage all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes across production
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures
• Manage internal and external audits (ISO and customer-specific)
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Root Cause Analysis, 8D, and corrective actions
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement solutions to reduce defects and improve performance
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and leadership teams to resolve quality issues
• Supervise and mentor quality team members including inspectors and technicians
• Develop and maintain quality documentation including control plans, PFMEAs, and work instructions
• Interface with customers regarding quality concerns, audits, and corrective actions

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in a Quality leadership role within manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001 (IATF 16949 experience is a plus)
• Experience with core quality tools: SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, 8D, Root Cause Analysis
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Experience leading audits and working directly with customers on quality issues
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred
