Commercial Lines Account Manager

BayCoast Insurance LLC is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager who knows commercial insurance is about more than policies it's about people, partnerships, and precision. You'll manage a dedicated book of commercial business, collaborate closely with producers and carriers, and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients-helping them protect what they've worked hard to build.

What You'll Do

• Manage and service an assigned book of commercial accounts with a focus on accuracy, retention, and growth
• Prepare and process new business, renewals, endorsements, audits, certificates, and cancellations
• Proactively communicate with clients to anticipate needs and deliver personalized service
• Partner with producers, underwriters, and carrier reps to ensure optional coverage and pricing
• Conduct regular account reviews, identifying coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities
• Handle billing questions, claims, inquiries, and policy changes with confidence and professionalism
• Maintain clear, detailed documentation in the Agency Management System (Applied Epic)
• Stay current on carrier guidelines, coverage trends, and industry changes
• Support team initiatives and departmental goals as needed

What We're Looking For

• Strong written and verbal communication skills (you can explain coverage without putting people to sleep)
• Solid understanding of commercial insurance coverages, rating, and underwriting
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities without sacrificing accuracy or service
• Experience with agency management systems (Applied Epic strongly preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• High level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail
• Massachusetts Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain prior to hire)
• Bilingual Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus
