Build Your Career.Kassam Construction is looking for an ambitious Junior Construction Project Manager who is ready to grow into a strong construction leader.This role is built for someone early in their construction career who has a solid foundation and is ready for the next step. You may be a Project Engineer, Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, Field Engineer, or a construction management graduate with hands-on experience who wants to move into project management.You won't be expected to know everything on day one.You'll work alongside experienced construction professionals while gaining hands-on experience managing hotel renovations, property improvements, and construction projects throughout the region. You'll learn how to manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, procurement, quality, safety, and client relationships while taking on more responsibility as you grow.At Kassam Construction, we believe great projects start with great people. Our culture is built around CARE: Compassionate, Authentic, Respectful, and Empathetic.If you're organized, driven, willing to travel, comfortable on a jobsite, and the kind of person who sees a problem and works to solve it, we want to hear from you.What You'll DoYou'll support projects from pre-construction through closeout, working both in the field and on the project-management side of the business.Project Coordination & ExecutionAssist with project planning, schedules, milestones, and day-to-day executionCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, equipment, and deliveriesTrack project progress and help identify potential schedule issuesParticipate in project meetings and communicate updates to the project teamHelp keep projects organized, documented, and moving forwardField Operations & SafetySupport daily jobsite operations and subcontractor coordinationHelp maintain safe, clean, and organized jobsitesParticipate in safety meetings, inspections, and daily planningHelp ensure work follows company safety standards, OSHA requirements, plans, specifications, and applicable codesWork closely with field teams to resolve issues as they ariseBudget & Cost ManagementAssist with project budgets and cost trackingReview invoices, expenses, and project commitmentsAssist with change orders, contracts, and project cost documentationLearn how project decisions affect budget and overall financial performanceQuality & Problem SolvingPerform jobsite walks and help identify quality or coordination issuesDocument deficiencies and follow through until corrections are completedIdentify potential problems before they affect schedule, cost, or qualityWork with project teams and subcontractors to develop practical solutionsTake ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow throughCommunication & DocumentationMaintain accurate project records and documentationCommunicate professionally with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teamsAssist with RFIs, submittals, change documentation, meeting notes, and closeout documentsBuild strong working relationships with everyone involved in the projectWhat We're Looking ForWe're more interested in drive, construction knowledge, accountability, and potential than an impressive job title.A strong candidate will have:2+ years of construction experience and/or education in Construction Management or a related fieldExperience as a Project Engineer, Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, Field Engineer, or similar construction role is a plusBasic knowledge of construction methods, building systems, plans, and jobsite safetyStrong organizational and communication skillsThe ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitmentsA practical, solutions-oriented approach to problemsConfidence working with subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and project teamsWillingness and ability to travel regionally for projectsInterest in learning construction technology such as Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling, and project-management softwareA professional attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take on increasing responsibilityHospitality construction experience is a plus, but it's not required.
