Job Opportunity

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated healthcare professional with experience in labor and delivery, antepartum, and mother/baby/post-partum care. The ideal candidate will also have experience circulating for cesarean sections.

Shift Details

• Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
• Schedule: 3 nights per week
• Holidays & Weekends: No on-call, no holidays or weekends required.
• Orientation: 36 hours

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant setting
• Certifications:
  
  
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
• Charting System: Experience with Epic required

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge Nurse experience preferred
• Experience in a community hospital setting preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care to antepartum, labor and delivery, and mother/baby/post-partum patients
• Circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections
• Administer medications and perform procedures such as amnioinfusion, circumcision care, and more
• Support breastfeeding and lactation initiatives
• Conduct assessments and provide discharge teaching to parents
• Manage high-risk deliveries and care for high-risk antepartum patients

The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
