Senior Software Engineer - Platform Engineering

Job OverviewOur mission is to build the future technology stack for our software development teams to leverage. The platform technologies we build will support the firm’s entire investment process from portfolio construction to trading and trading analytics, middle and back office functions. We are seeking a senior level software developer to work with our team of experts, building new technology frameworks that allow users to access data and existing systems across the entire Arrowstreet Investment Process.ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the team on designing and implementing software platforms for hosting micro services, event-driven real-time communication between components, as well as a common web platform for micro front ends. A successful candidate must be passionate about technology and understand software design patterns. They should be self-motivated, process-driven and a problem solver. This role is responsible for designing software solutions which take complex investment ideas and bring them to life.
