IT Systems Engineer - Millennium Space Systems

IT Systems Engineer (Level 4, Onsite – El Segundo, CA) Internal job code: Sys Design & Integration Spec. Position Responsibilities Install and configure operating systems, software, and hardware components; document design, maintenance, and support procedures for routine tasks. Administer and optimize hosts and servers to ensure high availability of infrastructure and systems. Participate in the design of information and operational support systems. Research and recommend innovative, automated approaches for system engineering tasks. Basic Qualifications Four (4) years of system engineering experience. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required). Experience with Linux and Windows architecture. Virtualization expertise, specifically vSphere. CompTIA Security+ certification. Preferred Qualifications Azure and Office 365 Tenant administration. Experience with storage services and platforms (e.g., Dell PowerStore, PowerVault). Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent work experience. Operating system administration (e.g., RHEL, Windows Server). Endpoint management (e.g., SCCM, Intune, SolarWinds, ServiceNow). Azure/O365 Online App experience (e.g., SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate). Domain management (e.g., AD, SSO, PKI, GPO, DHCP). Automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible). Containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator. Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate. VMware Certified Professional or VMware Certified Advanced Professional. Security Clearance Requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (Top Secret/SCI). Total Rewards Competitive base pay and variable compensation ranging from $129,200 to $190,000 for Level 4.
