JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Brand Manager

Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Summary

The Brand Manager is responsible for driving supplier execution, managing brand initiatives, and supporting the successful growth of assigned beverage portfolios. This role serves as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal sales teams, ensuring the execution of sales strategies, promotional programs, market visits, and performance tracking. The Brand Manager analyzes sales trends, develops actionable plans, and collaborates across departments to maximize brand performance and market share growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Supplier Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned suppliers.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships through regular communication and business reviews.
• Coordinate supplier visits and market tours.
• Ensure supplier priorities and objectives are communicated and executed throughout the organization.
• Support supplier meetings, presentations, and business planning initiatives.

1. Brand Strategy and Execution

• Develop and implement brand-specific sales and marketing strategies.
• Track, recap, and evaluate market ride initiatives and execution standards.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure successful execution of supplier programs and promotions.
• Monitor market conditions and identify opportunities to increase brand distribution and sales performance.
• Support multi-location market visits and retail execution initiatives.

1. Sales Analysis and Performance Tracking

• Analyze sales data, depletion reports, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor performance against supplier and company objectives.
• Develop recommendations to improve brand performance and profitability.
• Prepare reports and presentations for supplier reviews and internal meetings.
• Track key performance indicators and communicate results to leadership teams.

1. Program Management and Communication

• Coordinate and communicate promotional programs, incentives, and sales initiatives.
• Ensure sales teams are informed and equipped to execute brand priorities.
• Assist in planning and execution of supplier events, promotions, and market activities.
• Support field sales teams with brand information, tools, and resources.
• Facilitate effective communication between suppliers, sales teams, and management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high levels of accountability.
• Basic proficiency in mobile and/or tablet-based reporting tools (e.g., KARMA, Mobility).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Frequent walking, bending, stooping, and standing required during store visits.
• Ability to enter and exit delivery vehicles multiple times per day.
• Exposure to various retail and warehouse environments, including refrigerated areas.

Work Environment

• Field-based role with daily travel to customer locations within assigned territory.
• Schedule includes Monday–Friday with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events or pull-ups.
