Description

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of experience and ARDMS certification for a 13-week travel contract at a community hospital setting.

Details

• Community hospital echo/cardiac sonography unit
• 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Every third weekend required
• On-call coverage required Monday through Sunday, every other week
• GE equipment used
• Orientations are held bi-weekly
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of echocardiography/cardiac sonography experience
• Community hospital experience required
• Active ARDMS certification and BLS required
• Experience with GE ultrasound equipment required
• Compact or NC license required if applicable
• 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• All required certifications must be in hand at time of consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted but at a reduced pay rate
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Flu vaccine required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions accepted
