At Gateway Regional Medical Center, we're looking for a Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our laboratory team.Whether you're an experienced laboratory professional or a recent graduate ready to begin your career, you'll have the opportunity to put your knowledge to work in a supportive hospital environment where your contribution truly matters.What You'll DoAs part of our laboratory team, you'll help provide the accurate, timely results clinicians rely on to diagnose conditions and make treatment decisions. Your responsibilities will include:Performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures supporting diagnosis, treatment, and disease preventionAnalyzing and interpreting test results with accuracy and attention to detailFollowing established quality control and safety standardsOperating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory instruments and equipmentWorking collaboratively with laboratory and clinical teams to support excellent patient careWhat We're Looking ForMLT CandidatesAssociate degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program, including chemistry and biology coursework, or an equivalent combination of accredited coursework and structured/military laboratory trainingEligible for MLT certification through ASCP, AMT, HEW, CLS/NCA, or an equivalent credentialing organizationRegistry within 12 months of program completion is recommendedMT/MLS CandidatesBachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institutionOne year of accredited laboratory trainingEligible for MLS/MT certification through ASCP, AMT, HEW, CLS/NCA, or an equivalent credentialing organizationCertification within 12 months of program completion is preferredAll Qualified CandidatesPrevious laboratory experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
