If you are passionate about delivering compassionate, skilled care and thrive in a dynamic team, this position could be the perfect fit for you.– Draw quality blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations, following established protocols. – Prepare specimens for lab testing, ensuring proper labeling and documentation according to procedures. – Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signatures to confirm specimen labeling accuracy. – Maintain accurate records and documentation of all specimen collection activities. – Create a welcoming and professional environment for patients, demonstrating excellent customer service and communication skills. – Follow all safety and confidentiality policies to protect patient information and ensure a secure environment. – Perform venipuncture and capillary collections in various clinical locations, including patient service centers and physician offices, as needed. – Manage multiple priorities efficiently within a high-volume setting, exercising good judgment and decision-making based on established procedures. – Uphold organizational standards of process excellence, safety, and professionalism during all tasks.– Strong phlebotomy skills with experience in pediatric, geriatric, and capillary blood draws. – Ability to perform venipuncture accurately and safely. – Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain procedures clearly and build trust with patients. – Attention to detail for verification and labeling procedures to prevent errors. – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. – Reliable and punctual with strong organizational skills.– High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. – Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington. – 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections. – Experience working in a Patient Service Center environment is highly desirable. – Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime, to cover multiple locations. – Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a clean driving record, if applicable. – Skilled in keyboard/data entry with attention to accuracy.This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patient health and well-being.
